17th of July 2009 - Scarpa Announce NTN Beta testing a sucess
I'm a bit late with this. I don't know if it is true but Craig Dostie posted on Telemark Tips a press release from Scarpa USA. Scarpa issued skiers who broke their NTN boots with new boots built with new moulds and plastics. Scarpa claim with the changes their boots are finally reliable and will be available in our Spring. I hope the release is true and NTN can continue to improve telemark skiing.11th of July 2009 - Kosciuszko Ski School Officially Opens
Today the new Kosciuszko Ski School a part of K7 Adventures at the Perisher Nordic Centre officially opened. I Instruct Nordic skiing and Guide for the ski school. More information on what the ski school offers is available at the ski school's page and this online brochure.
30th June 2008 - Wilderness Sports Perisher to be relocated
Wilderness Sports lost its space in the Perisher Centre during the refurbishment of the Perisher Centre over the summer. NPWS has offered some space in the Visitor Centre at Perisher Valley for a hire and retail outlet to serve Nordic and Telemark Skiers and Wilderness Sports has won the tender and will establish a new retail and hire outlet once the final approvals are granted.

26th and 27th of July: Free Heel & Backcountry Festival - Mt Stirling
Next weekend there will be a telemark festival at Mt Stirling and Mt Buller. If your in the area make sure you join in. Activities include:
- Telemark clinics for beginner to advanced levels
- Tele-cross races on the summit at Mt Buller
- Demo ski try-out
- Test the latest in Telemark skis and bindings
- Randonnee Citizens Race: an exciting “open to all” competition to experience the backcountry.
- Free Heel DH Classic: an adrenalin rush downhill race – Mt.Stirling Summit to King Saddle.
