4^th of August 2010 - Mt Wheatley Jaunt

I got up to Perisher early for my field work and was treated to another fantastic sun rise. I forgot my season pass and walked up to my study area near Perisher gap and came back via Mt Wheatley. I was treated to some great views on a picture perfect day. The ski back down was difficult due to the nasty breakable crust. I heard on the shady aspects of Mt Perisher the snow had frozen rock hard after the season started dump on the 1^st.
