Perisher Nordic Trails 24th of July 2009
I hadn't seen the full impact of the rain and warm temps over the last two days at Perisher. The damage is much more visible at the Nordic Trails. The Beginners bowl has been almost destroyed. There are depressions and creeks all over the trails. The big hill on the 5k is a slalom around all of the big depressions and holes in the trails. The weather was wild today, but at least it hailed and sagoed, instead of raining.

If the temps continue I thing the trails will be gone in a fortnight. Lets hope the big front coming through is a winner.
