Perisher 29th of June to the 1st of July 2010

The last three days have been full of coaching and instructor training for me, so I can’t report much on the piste conditions but I can tell you what was happening with the weather. Tuesday was a beautiful cold, sunny day. Talk about the hill said Zali’s and roller coaster were open, but were not in very good nick. On Wednesday I spent most of the day doing field work for my Honours Project and some snow fell, but sadly only a dusting. The weather was miserable and even though Towers opened officially for the first time this winter (sans poachers like me) the weather was so cold and windy the run was almost empty. Today was another clear and cold day until some snow this afternoon.

We need snow, we need it a lot. Make sure you pray to Hughie, I’m sick of coaching nordic racers at Pony Ride and on Front Valley.
